Rich Hall is hilarious, and he should’ve been in more things when he was on SNL.

Gosh, I wish I could find a copy or posting of Rich hall’s full “Vanishing America”. It was great! 🙂

Paul Harvey was a trully great American Icon. Rich Hall wrote one of the funniest books I’ve ever read and he is a very talented commedian.

Selling seeds was an adventure. I learned the words ” no soliciting” very quickly. But I was able to get a camera, a basket ball, a microscope and and set of binoculars without my parents help. Doing this gave me an early experience in how to be a sales man and meet people. It was fun and rewarding. Of course now a days, you couldn’t get a kid to do this . And as for Paul Harvey, his voice always stood out, just like his stories. Miss you Paul and thanks for the trip down memory lane, Rich.

I too sold seeds as a Junior Seed Salesmen of America. Keith Olbermann is an evil sick man for his comments about Paul Harvey.

I listened to Paul Harvey since I owned my first car in High School with a radio.
The first time I hear dthe “rest of the story” I couldn’t believe the connection with the first part of his story. I have listened to his broadcast whenever I could every time I could since then. It ended up feeling as though I were listening to a relativeI and I so looked forward to his visits. I miss him already and feel like another Uncle of mine has passed away.
    So long and thanks Paul.

I’m going to miss Paul. He was always so positive. He helped me learn English. I would hear him on the radio when I was 6 or 7 (I spoke Spanish until Kindergarten). He broke the OKC bombing news to me.

Good day old timer. Stand by for transcendence.
